The Saturday Open-Role Practica

A Collaborative Tango Practice Group

The Open-Role Practica is a collaborative learning environment open to new and experienced tango dancers. All who attend co-create a welcoming and inviting space for sharing and learning.

Civetta Dance Center
124 N 103rd St, Seattle

This Saturday, June 30th: Role-exchange in tango.

The class topic will be changing lead/follow roles mid-dance (also sometimes referred to as interleading). Max will cover ways to do this smoothly both with and without change of embrace. We will also discuss responsible and respectful ways of taking over or giving up the lead mid-song, including safety and etiquette issues, and tips and skills that make this a fun thing to do, for both partners.

All are welcome to attend the Open-Role Practica.

This is a LGBT-safe and welcoming environment.
